A group of 3 couples dined here on March 17th 2024. We had pre-booked as we knew the place to be good and in demand. Our review can be kept short: everything about our experience here was too class. The ambience, food and wine were...all excellent. The staff were outstanding in terms of both good service and genuine friendliness. Our evening could not have been nicer. All 6 of us would be very happy to go back and are very pleased to recommend Casa Roberto to you.More

Such a quaint restaurant in the Old Town with a choice of dining areas, including a very nice garden terrace. Service is excellent, English spoken and we enjoyed shoulder of slow cooked lamb, grilled whole fish and fried calamari, all at a very reasonable 10-15...euro price. Highly recommended.More

We liked the look of this restaurant when we were exploring the old town and checked it out on TripAdvisor before reserving a table for our anniversary dinner. The restaurant is quirky and cosy, consisting of several discrete dining areas on different levels. The service...and the food was excellent and very reasonably priced for such good quality. We had the tomato carpaccio and the octopus for starters and then steak and shoulder of lamb, all delicious. Their own red wine was also excellent. All in all a perfect anniversary dinner.More

After a satisfying late lunch at Roberto's other restaurant (4 Cantones-- see separate review) across the street, Roberto insisted we walk with him to see Casa Roberto and meet his daughter, the chef, Alexandra. We returned the following day for lunch at Casa Roberto. The...welcome was warm, the service personable, and the long lunch in one of the many small rooms in this multi-story house memorable. Delectable squid, salmon tartare were the highlights. The quality of the cuisine is up to the high expectations of the fashionable local clientele.More

Four of us visited for a meal just after Three Kings Day in January, The room was really cold and a number of the items on the menu had sold out (the previous day probably). The Octopus was good as a starter but the Oxtail...main course was a huge disappointment being served on a freezing cold plate and it was also far from a generous portion. When you order a rustic / hearty meal on a cold winter evening you want it to be filling and hot; this wasn't by any stretch. On the plus side the staff who looked after us were really helpful. The setting is very attractive too.More

It was a beautiful venue with lovely different rooms on different floors. We were the only diners at the time which reduced the "ambience" and atmosphere The food was very good and they made sure that my wife had a good choice of vegetarian dishes....We were deeply indebted to the Manager who spent a long time with us and showed us around the entire restaurant. We will be back in the near future when I think it will be busier and more atmospheric. Thanyou Ian J. StewartMore

We visited Lorca today for an overnight stay at the Parador. Acting on good reviews from Trip Advisor we chose Casa Roberto. Now this is in no way a reflection on the restaurant but Garmin GPS mapping for Lorca is woeful, and it took well...over an hour to find the place, trying to take us down long established no entry routes repeatedly, anyway, to really put the lid on it Casa Roberto was showning no sign of life!! Casa Roberto, please keep opening times updated, Garmin, you must do better re Lorca!More

This restaurant came highly recommended and it didn’t disappoint. We sat in the covered open air terrace which was delightful. The service was excellent with a very friendly and knowledgeable waiter who was willing to make recommendations. The starters and main course were delicious. Scallops,...mixed salad and octopus were the starters which we shared between 3 of us served with excellent fresh bread. They were followed by oxtail, leg of lamb and lamb chops which were all very tasty. We had a bottle of red wine, water and a beer and the cost was €90. A thoroughly enjoyable meal and we can’t wait to return to try other items from the menu.More

Passing through Lorca and bumped into Casa Roberto by chance. Went early for lunch so we were the first and only customers at a very nice room on 2nd floor. Both Sopa de Cebolla and Soa de la Abuela were excellent. Arroz con pulpo was...so good and we managed to finnish everything including the tasty crusts. If you go there, should not miss the Pera al vino tinto!More

This restaurant came highly recommended by Trip Advisor and others but while it was OK ir seemed dated and tired. The menu has obviously not changed for some time. We went for lunch and apart from a group in an adjacent room we were the...only other diners. The food felt 'heated up rather than freshly cooked and while it was Ok it didn't 'Wow' us. On the other hand the staff were lovely....very attentive and helpful. The ambience with a few more diners would be lovely in this converted house 'casa' but we felt the food needed attention. The wine was again OK but not fantastic.More

Day trip to Lorca and visited Casa Roberto after reading trip advisor reviews. Roberto’s has upmarket, authentic Spanish feel with excellent service. We were casually dressed but staff were so friendly - my husband was even given a tour of the kitchen! Lovely meal -...salmon really good and good house wine all at a reasonable price. Would definitely return.More

We enjoyed a very pleasant dinner at Casa Roberto. The look and feel is very upmarket, the food is good quality, service is attentive and yet the prices are very reasonable. Would definitely recommend. Our only suggestion for an improved experience would be turn off...the poor quality background music (Muzak) which is quiet but having heard some tracks 4 times became irritating/amusing. Would have given 5 stars if it were not for this gripe. Moy buena comida y servicio pero terrible musica!More

We decided to visit this restaurant after reading the great views and we weren't disappointed..unfortunately we speak very little Spanish and the staff spoke no English but with the help of google translate we managed to order the most amazing meal with wine and water.....We had croquettes and cheese bombs for starters which were both very nice and tasty and freshly cooked...we had the mushroom and ham risotto for mains which was absolutely delicious full of flavour and beautifully cooked..compliments to the chef... Tiramisu for dessert which was so deliciously light and airy my hubby had eaten the lot before I even got my camera out..the waiter was so attentive and friendly even though he couldn't understand us nor us he but a smile and hand gestures go along way...thankyou...we will definitely recommend and be back ourselves...More
