Four of us visited this restaurant on our second night in Aracena the place had a great buzz and atmosphere. We were a little disappointed with our meals. The risottos were mainly rice with a few prawns added to the top and the pasta dish...was very salty. The pizza was thin and crispy so no complaints on that dish. Obviously a popular restaurant for takeaways as several people came whilst in the place to pick up their orders.More

It was a family meeting and we did not regret it. The pizzas were good, needing a little bit of test to them, the ricotta lasagna was delicious and the deserts were wonderful. Nice atmosphere as well... lots of vegetarian tasty options.

I have been in Spain for a couple of years and this place dishes up some of the best pizza I have had in a long time. I have been a few times now and am never disappointed. They do all the classics and then...some specials based on local ingredients. The fresh pasta dishes are also excellent and they have some decent wines. The have some tapas too. They also do take-away.More

Pretty typically for Spanish Pizzas. flat, soggy and pretty tasteless. This really should be my husbands review though as I didn't try it. Couldn't get a good pasta either though.

We almost gave up trying to find La Stradina but finally noticed location on Tripadvisor is noted incorrectly! We ordered Stradina & Bodina pizzas which were excellent. Crispy, thin based pizzas with fresh ingredients - throw in some locally produced beers = magic. Superb from...start to finish in a cosy, rustic environment. Staff spoke limited English but very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Thank you - Definitely returning to try the pasta!More

Great little find here down a side street. Food really good. They could speak English but we insisted they spoke Spanish.looked like it was a very popular little spot.

I love Pizza! I have had it all over the world and this is the best. What else can I say? This place and the service is quirky but If I lived within 10 miles of this place I would go there once a week....The bases are wafer thin and the toppings very tasty - Mmmmmmmmmmmm! Oh yes, and very good value for money.More

We (2) ordered two tapas as a starter and two pizzas as a main course. When we saw the size of the first tapa (fried provolone) there was a little alarm bell. When the waitress served the second tapa (fried eggplant) we knew that two...pizzas was gonna be to much. There was no problem at all to cancel one off the two pizzas at that point. And, even one pizza was practically more than we could eat. Restaurant is nice place to be, staff is super friendly, prices are correct. Portions are (for our stomachs) far to big. We had more than we could eat and a nice bottle of the wine list for only 30 euro. Our barbacao pizza was acceptable if you take in account that you are not in Italy. It's a Spanish variation ...More

I had a barbecue pizza at La Stradina. The base is thin. I do enjoy a thin base, I want to eat Pizza not bread. The topic was barbecue sauce with minced meat. The taste was good, well presented and filling. I had pizza twice...at La Stradina and both time very enjoyable.More

I was looking for the cool, inviting courtyard but as earlier posts indicate the restaurant has moved premises. We therefore sat at one of the metal tables in the street outside. Peaceful, outside "havens" seem to be at a premium in Aracena, but this road...was quiet enough. The food was excellent. We both had the same. A tapas starter of mushroom risotto and a main of tagliatelle diosa. Both were excellent. Albeit Italian food in a Spanish location, La Stradina is worth seeking out for its local ingredients and the top quality cooking.More

The location of La Stradina has changed. I am not sure which street it is now on, but, if you are in the main square and head to the North East corner (I think) and head down the road between the pharmacy and the toy...shop, then turn left, opposite the only coloured house on the street (it was orange I think)... about 50m from the turn, and opposite the leather shop. We feasted on beetroot solmorejo, risotto, lasagne, cesar salad that was TDF, and pizzas. The food was exceptional. The tintos were refreshing and we had a great meal. Can't wait to go again.More

The pizzas here are just right - light, crispy base, full of that 'proper pizza' wood fired flavour, all topped off with some lovely, fresh local ingredients A good variety of pastas on the menu too. It was very busy the evening we were there,...lots of Cava corks popping as a large group of local girls were in to celebrate a Hen night. (seated in a sectioned off area, they were far more well behaved than we would be, back in the UK) Great party atmosphere though.More

You enter via a pretty little courtyard terrace with seating outside in warmer weather. There are tables and a bar inside too, and the space feels welcoming and comfortable. In the evening the whole place takes on a magical atmosphere as the artistic interiors are...lit up to great effect. They make lovely wood fired pizzas and have an Italian menu which substitutes many of the expected ingredients with even more delicious local ones - the 'Aracena' pizza for example, is made with a topping of local Jamon Serrano and cheeses of the area. Lots of locals use the place to meet, have a drink, stop for something to eat or simply to pick up a takeway pizza. La Stradina is fairly new to Aracena and is an unexpected little gem which offers something a little different from the usual hearty fare you will find here - try it, I'm sure you'll like it too. N.B. La Stradina is not actually in the main Plaza, as the address suggests, from memory I think it is off Sta Rita, quite close to the red church. At first we couldn't find it and had to get directions from the ferreteria (ironmongers)More
