We went twice. The pistachio is the best I’ve ever tasted. The range is almost over whelming. The dark chocolate fondant was also delicious
My daughters loves the crepes with ice cream and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her frozen margarita!
I spent a lot of time debating (with myself) whether this was going to be worth the money. It was Brilliant. We paid for a private session for Pizza followed by Ice Cream and it was very professional, brilliant fun, highly engaging and superbly delivered by the wonderful Theresa and her brilliant team (Antonio also deserves special mention). The kids LOVED it, the parents LOVED it.
Thank you Theresa. Genuinely World Class.
Wonderful ice cream served in a very clean and inviting environment. The choice of flavours of ice cream and sorbets was exceptional. The service was good and very helpful. A real treat.
My kids had been looking for some kind of cooking experience while in Italy. We were on a tour for 13 days and all the classes we found interfered with our busy schedule, but we found this gem wandering Sorrento and they had a 1 hour class where you could make Gelato and Sorbet for 25 euros per person. The time slot fit well with what we had to do that evening and was a lot shorter than the 4 hours cooking class/dinners we had seen before at other locations.
In the class Theresa whose family has been doing this for 3 generations took us through making both Lemon Sorbet and fresh hazelnut ice cream. We got to eat both and at the end of the class also got to choose two flavors from their main Gelato counter as well. The flavor of the fresh Lemon sorbet was amazing and the Hazelnut was to die for. Theresa told us the importance of only using fresh and high quality ingredients and told us what to look out for when buying sorbet at shops around town to find those that may use cheaper quality ingredients or fillers.
If you have an hour to spare while in Sorrento and are looking for something to do with kids or family members, it is well worth the 25 euros.
This was so interesting and enjoyable really worth going to
We have been going there for ice cream every holiday in Sorrento but as we took our granddaughter this time we thought she might like taking part
The owner Maria Theresa was an excellent host , made the lesson fun and also really informative
Made me want to try out her advice when I get back home
Truly scrumptious ice cream and you can taste each flavour that you choose
I love the fruit based ones but there is so much choice you need to go back again and again to sample what’s available
I would recommend the class but also buying your gelato from Bougainvilla !
We tasted mulberry, choc orange, peanut, praline ginger caramel, liquorice, mango pineapple, banana, lemoncello, walnut, fig, mint, dark chocolate and.... such intense tastes which felt natural. Gorgeous. We didn't try other ice cream shops in sorrento but this sure bests others in the rest of the world.
