We were looking for somewhere on a Friday night along the beach around Punta Marina and were struggling to find somewhere open and not deserted. We came to the realization that the beach part of Punta Marina pretty much shuts down after sun-down, particularly in the shoulder-season.
We pulled into Bagno Perla randomly and saw a few cars and a few people and thought that was a good sign. We went in and were seated in a completely covered in terrace. There were a few other family groups (or perhaps one very large one) that looked like they might be friends of the owners.
But everyone was friendly and the prices were cheap. We were informed though that the Pizza menu wasn't available. I guess there wasn't enough customers to warrant firing up the pizza oven.
But my steak with mixed salt was awesome, beautifully rare but sealed on the outside (but no sides by default), and my wife had a yummy basic pasta
Overall, friendly, basic, a feel of a family run place, Moto GP playing in the background and the kids running riot. We enjoyed our food even though it wasn't the most sophisticated stuff we've ever had :) I think in the high-season it would be very popular!
