We choose the day trip to Maddalena Sardinia with a stop on the Lavezzi islands.
Aida, our boat, was in the hand of our Capitain Geoffrey. It was a fantastic day, a lot to see, and a lunch in Sardinia with some local specialties. With only 12 peoples, the atmosphere is very relax and you can have a discussion with the other passengers.
Geoffrey had bought a great aperitif with some recipe of his own, very tasteful, and very welcome after a swim...
The Captain also gave us with a lot of information about the region and the sea, we even saw dolphins near the Maddalena.
We spend a great day and Geoffrey is a very nice person, I highly recommend this trip, it is worth the price.
We went to the Lavezzi and to Sardinia and it was amazing! The captain Geoffrey was very friendly and we had such a great time.
My family and I took the day tour to the Lavazzi island to celebrate my 40th birthday and we had an excellent time. I hesitated a lot about what to do on this special occasion and I'm really happy I went for this boat tour. First all, the service received prior to the tour was really great and then the day of the boat tour was simply fantastic. The captain was very friendly and took time to explain everything and talk to us individually. Although the food was simply some cold meats, these were simply delicious and we did not go hungry or thirsty throughout the day as he was always proposing something to eat or to drink. At the end of the cruise our son started crying because he could no longer play with the toys on board and the captain was was so kind he even gave him as present the 2 cars he was playing the most during the tour. He made him really happy.
The boat, Aida, was really comfortable and there was plenty of space to move around, sleep or sunbathe on deck, sit, etc. We were very lucky we had a small group with only 3 other really friendly and nice families travelling also with kids. Because of the small group, we got the opportunity to talk to everybody and there was a very nice atmosphere during the whole trip. The trip itself is a fantastic way to discover the stunning Cavallo and Lavezzi islands and to snorkel in the almost surreal clear waters from Corsica. Even if the price might seem a bit high compared to other tour operators, you really get a lot for the price and it is totally worth it. You won't go wrong if you choose Croisiere Exclusive. Thanks for a fantastic birthday celebration!
Brilliant afternoon spent with our guide Alexi! Boat was wonderful...we swam, snorkeled...drank cold beer and punch...laughed...worth every euro...thanks Croisière Exclusive and especially Alexi
We went on a afternoon trip (trip no. 3) with the quadrimaran "Carrataghju" to the sea outside Porte-Vecchio and the Lavezzi islands.
In the boat you sit on a row behind one another, like in a roller coaster in an amusement park... and later I found out why :-)
We were told that the info during the trip would be in French, but our "captain" Alexis spoke very well English, and that made the trip even better for us. Thumbs up to Alexis!
On our way to Lavezzi, the waves were too big - in my opinion - and the boat made big jumps up and down. The other passengers enjoyed the big jumps and the watersplashes, that soaked us totally. It was cloudy, so it became too cold for me and the kids to sit there wet in our bathing suits in heavy cold wind. We took the seat next to Alexis to seek cover from the water and the wind.
We had two nice stops to swim and snorkle (equipment was on board). There were plenty of fish. Corals were all damaged. Probably from the anchoring of the ships.
I would have hoped for more swim time, but obviously the trip to the swim spots had taken all the time.
We had a snack and a drink at one of the stops.
We were very lucky to book the one-day cruise to Bonifacio on Aïda just a few days before the trip. It was an amazing experience. I was a bit anxious cruising on a very large rib in 20-25 knot winds but the cruise was comfortable at all times despite the wind. The boat is superb and ideal for this type of cruises. There is ample space for the maximum number of 12 passengers that Croisière Exclusive allows. Geoffrey our skipper was clearly very experienced and took us to some wonderful (and sheltered!) spots where we could all go and swim with the fish in the most beautiful surroundings. The surprise Corsican snacks were much appreciated. Overall an amazing experience. Definitely worth the price.
