The jazz club is located in a vaulted cellar in the centre of Prague and very close to the Old Town Square. The entrance fee is neglible for the wonderful jazz music played, the great atmosphere and the charming small bar and drinks service. I just didn't want to leave.
Thank You for nice review :-)

When our tour guide said this was an underground jazz club, he wasn't kidding. The place is literally underground, it was a really cool venue! The place probably fits about 70-80 people. It would be ideal to reserve seats beforehand, but you can also just show up, just that the seats will be limited. I would definitely recommend this place!
Petr Kroutil and his Brothers gave an amazing show. They all play skillfully and in synchrony. There are a lot of instruments and a very good singing. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the 3 hours show. Totally worth the money and time
We went to AghaRTA last night to hear a jazz trio play. Researching online, we knew the keyboard player was the leader and the group mostly played his original compositions. Usually there is a bass player that plays in the trio, but this night, the group consisted of the keyboardist, a drummer, and a saxophone player.
The venue is intriguing: you're in a basement, brick and cement walls, nice and cool, curved ceiling. Tickets were relatively cheap: $22 (American dollars) for two people. First off, be careful of the cocktails--I ordered a Cuba Libre. It didn't taste like rum, it didn't taste like cola, it didn't have any lime flavor--it tasted like a watery, flat mess that had been sitting at the bar for a day. Asked the server to take it back and replace it with any beer they had. She did. Still charged me for the Cuba Libre. OK, it wasn't that expensive, but still...? If a customer tells you a drink doesn't taste right and sends it back right away, wouldn't a decent response be to comp your customer their replacement beverage?
The performance we heard last night was all right, but not great, and not anything I would choose to sit through again. While the musicians themselves were fairly (as in moderately, not sufficiently) skilled, the collective sound was one of cacophany. There needs to be an understanding of DYNAMICS here. Everything does not need to be played at the loudest volume all the time. Please! The poor sax player (who was unmiked) must have burst a lung just getting his sound heard above the din.
After two sets of musicians playing as loudly and as fast or as flashily as they could, we said "enough." If you decide to go to AghaRTA, expect to hear an average band, get average (or worse) service, and, if you aren't a music elitist (which I admit I am), then perhaps an enjoyable musical experience. If you desire quality music, check the online videos of the featured performers and decide whether or not it's something you want to see.
A cosy, underground and trendy jazz club - we visited on a Thursday evening but there was still a good vibe. 250 Kc entrance fee. The band performed 3 sets from 9pm to midnight so lots of good quality music. Table service provided, drinks not super cheap but perfectly reasonable for the city centre - about 60 Kc for a 0.5L Pilsner. Will happily go back and look forward to another band or artist.
My bf knew the place from prior visits so we reserved tickets online (around 10 eur/person) for a very nice jazz act.
It is an old cellar with good acoustics, we got late as it was a bit complicated to find it so we got places in the back as it was full -probably 60 people attending.
Still good but I would recommend a bit fluffier cushions as the bench is hard and complicated for a whole show.
The drinks were reasonably priced, clean toilets.
Overall we had a very good time.
