A couple of streets, also spills out onto the main thoroughfare, devoted mainly to food to eat, raw food ingredients and clothes. Nothing special, very close to On Nut BTS if you happen to be in the area.

The area around On Nut was another part of Bkk we wanted to explore... to be real n not touristy. So found a great Airbnb and spent 4 great days there...Why’great’? Just literally at the doorstep was food alley which served the lunch n dinner crowds n Big C which I visited for the supermarket n air conditioning! We even had our massages n hubby had a great haircut too!
And across the main road was the ‘talad’ which opens at 5 am... local food ( all so clean) n the market too...clean n dry with friendly vendors. Got my local curries n dried fish to take home.. fresh n cheaper! We bought mangoes n durians n rambutans n passionfruit to take back to our room to eat !
Just walk around the area n you see a huge Tesco n an enclave of street food.. we had the salt baked fish n somtom! I also spotted a shop selling second hand bags like Coach n Gucci n LV nearby!
We will definitely be staying in On Nut again.. oh! It’s only 30 minutes to the International Airport.. so no rush!
I have to add that we were there during one of the hottest periods in Thailand but with the numerous 7/11, Tesco n Big C.. it was surprisingly fun cos we just popped in to get ice cold beverages or just enjoy the air conditioning! And then went back to room for a nice cold shower👍🏻
Nothing special to shout about, worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for food and drinks.
Variety of Thai food all conveniently grouped in one location, with some western and japanese, for you to experience while enjoying some beer, bottled and tap. Although the food is not anything special.
Think of it as a food court with a decent chill environment to have a beer and people watch
Very close to where we stayed ..good fresh market..lots of spices herbs vegetables and kitchen appliances
we found this nice enclave of vendors selling street food with a cute water fountain in the middle. cost of food was very reasonable and the "food market" becomes more alive at night. there is a big screen projector tv and customers are able to watch soccer matches while enjoying a cold one. there is a bar there but no "beer ladies" so the place is not sleazy. appropriate place to bring kids.
This is worth a visit ! I wont call this a market it is just a few food stalls and seating area next to a centre ( on Nut BTS exit ) and not a 10 min walk.
There are a few other vendors with clothing ect along the streets.
Try the strawberry jug ... we enjoyed all the sweets in it ;)
