Went for a quick dinner
Ordered Pad See Ew with chicken and Thai Ice Tea
The Pad See Ew was pretty decent, the flat rice noodle had a really nice texture and had me wondering if it was made in house or if it was sauced from outside. The portion was not too big but the price wasn't bad.
Although it is not on the menu, I think they should make Pad Kee Mao as it should be popular with locals (who mostly packed the joint on the night I visited) who would appreciate the spicier flavor.
The thai ice tea was waaaayyy too sweet, no need for whip cream and chocolate syrup on top.
The taste is ok but I found a long hair in the red curry dish. Totally disgusting. Kitchen and managers talking really loud.
Will never come again.
Hidden in an inconspicuous side street off Mahabandoola Road, this Thai restaurant offers surprisingly good, authentic Thai food at very reasonable prices. Definitely a place to return to.
Recommended by a good friend, we were delighted to have tried this recently opened Thai restaurant at downtown Yangon next to a financial centre. Food was authentic & delicious. Less crowded on weekends for dinner, service was attentive. One of the proprietors explained their journey to get this franchise from Thailand right. Variety of dishes & value was good. Going back again this week !
