My experience with the Glidden House was wonderful. I stayed there for two nights recently for an interview, and they were great. They are within walking distance of Case Western University's campus, and close to several places to eat as well as within walking distance to the Cleveland Botanical Gardens and Museum of Art. I drove up to Ohio originally and was able to park my car for $10/day, which is much less than other hotels nearby. The staff was phenomenal: Everyone was extremely nice and friendly throughout my stay, even wishing me "good luck" on the morning of my interview and asking me about it when I returned back from the hotel. The room was quite comfortable and clean (and I personally thought well decorated, better than most hotels that I stay in with a quirky yet clean-cut style). The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of electrical outlits and lights. The bathroom was also clean and honestly better than my shower at home. The breakfast buffet in the mornings was OUTSTANDING. They have a large variety of items including oatmeal, Greek yogurt (with a variety of things to add including blueberries, strawberries, granola, etc.), different types of starch foods (mini waffles one day, sweet potato pancakes the next), eggs, bacon, meats/cheeses, pastries (scones, croissants, etc.), and they even had these little mini strawberry smoothies one morning. I was unable to enjoy the "happy hour" or restaurant associated with the hotel because of my own scheduled activities, but they both seemed great (from walking by while coming in/out of the hotel). Overall, I am 100% satisfied with my experience and would highly recommend this hotel to other guests.
